to cleavageman j,
thought you might find this interesting, in light of your water-scene analysis.
Hail, holy Queen, mother of mercy,
Hail our life, our sweetness, and our hope.
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve;
to thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn, then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us;
and after this, our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus:
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
i just heard it in church today. strange, innit?

mmm... v interesting indeed.
is this a standard Catholic prayer? so there is more to the title after all. and i really do think that the water scene symbolises baptism which symbolises rebirth
and well so the exile in the title is actually refering to all of us, of our existence on this world, agree?
